Our Directors & Pastors
Co-Pastors Jesse & Katelynn Miner founded the Berkshire Dream Center on July 1st 2011, after three years of outreach work in the Morningside neighborhood in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Shortly after the Berkshire DC Church began with having it’s first services in a small living room on Cherry Street. From there we have been miracles take place from the hand of God alone, to bring us where we are today!
Together they bring passion, vision, excitement, love of God into our church, community and city. They were joined together by their love for God and helping their community in 2010 and married on October 5th 2013.
They live with their family in Berkshire County and have been blessed with three beautiful children, Jeremiah, Lillian & Samuel.
Bio- Pastor Katelynn Miner
Katelynn Miner serves as the Founder and Executive Director of the Berkshire Dream Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, a ministry she helped found with its work beginning in 2008. What began as a small step of obedience and compassion has — by God’s grace — grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, officially established in 2011, that now serves more than 16,000 people each year. From the start, her heart has been to follow God’s leading and reflect His love through practical outreach, relationship-building, and community transformation.
In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Katelynn also serves as a co-pastor of the Berkshire DC Church, shepherding and leading alongside her husband, Jesse Miner. Together, they are passionate about sharing the hope of Jesus, strengthening families, and building a church that reaches beyond its walls.
Her work at the Berkshire Dream Center includes nonprofit administration, team development, grant writing, donor engagement, and oversight of all programs and ministries. Under her leadership, the Dream Center has launched several first-of-its-kind initiatives in Berkshire County, including the Bright MorningStar Kitchen — a restaurant-style soup kitchen — and the Berkshire Hope House, now in the process of preparing to open to support children recovered from human trafficking. The Berkshire Dream Center also distributes more than 173,000 pounds of free food annually and continues to expand its impact throughout the region. Through every opportunity, Katelynn credits God alone for opening doors, providing resources, and sustaining the work.
Katelynn earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Theology from Zion Bible College (Northpoint) in 2009 and holds several certifications, including the Standard Teaching Diploma, Klaaskids Human Trafficking Prevention Training, and ministerial ordination. She was honored with the Outstanding Young Alumni Award in 2019. Her global experience includes studying abroad in Israel and Jordan at Jerusalem University College and participating in mission and disaster relief work in Africa, Thailand, Russia/Siberia, Panama, Costa Rica, Jamaica, and Mexico.
She currently serves on the City of Pittsfield’s Mayor-appointed Homeless Advisory Committee, the Greylock Federal Credit Union Advisory Committee, and the Board of Berkshire Community Action Council. She also serves on the Board of the First Pioneer Valley Dream Center and leads the Berkshire Pastors Network, which unites churches throughout the county for evangelism, prayer, and community impact. In addition, the Berkshire Dream Center is a Network Member of the Los Angeles Dream Center, strengthening connections with ministries around the world.
Through every responsibility and calling, Katelynn’s deepest desire is to honor God and serve people. She continues to pray for greater faith to see all that God can do. Miracles are happening, lives are being changed, and she stands confident that God is able to do far more than we could ever imagine — in the Dream Center, in the church, throughout our community, and across the world.

Bio – Pastor Jesse Miner
A native of the beautiful Berkshires, Jesse Miner has dedicated his life to helping others grow—physically, spiritually, and personally. His passion for people and movement began early, and in February 2006, he became a certified Group Fitness Instructor at the world-renowned Canyon Ranch in Lenox, MA. A year later, he advanced his career by earning his Personal Trainer certification, spending 19 years teaching, training, and helping others pursue health and wholeness through a wide range of exercise modalities.
Jesse believes that true fitness extends beyond the body—it’s about wholeness. His approach as a trainer is grounded in compassion, empathy, and understanding. He strives to meet people where they are while providing safe, challenging, and effective workouts designed for all fitness levels. His mission is to help others discover their God-given strength and potential through movement.
Beyond the fitness world, Jesse serves as co-pastor and leader at the Berkshire Dream Center and Berkshire DC Church in Pittsfield, MA—a ministry he and his wife have poured their hearts into since its beginning. He has also served as the worship leader for the Berkshire DC Church since its founding, using his love for music and guitar to create spaces of authentic worship and spiritual connection. Together, he and his wife lead with a vision to bring hope, faith, and transformation to their community.
When he’s not teaching, preaching, or leading worship, Jesse enjoys spending time outdoors—especially hiking the scenic trails of the Berkshires with his family. His faith, love for people, and passion for wellness continue to shape his mission: to inspire others to live strong, balanced, and purpose-driven lives.
